 IsraeL M- FAQ

What motivates you to site a web resource?

  • It has to be a thematic website
  • Link page must be cached by Google and it should not be 1 month older the date when Google cached it last time
  • There should not be any links which are not related to website industry
  • It should not be FFA or link farm site

Is it a collection of online tools or handy tutorials? Or may be it is a provoking title?

No, we never use any online tool to search the web resource for link building, we perform all the actions manually by inserting related keywords/ keyword phrases to Google to retrieve the list of websites then pick only those websites who seem to exchange links after ensuring all aspects of quality link partner. We also select the sites from back links from competitor’s sites.

What % to your homepage uses the same anchor text? (A good variety is best)

Yes, variety of anchor test is always best as it provides good SERPs at more than one targeted keywords. So we use variety of anchor texts, as many variations as possible, most preferably 20% to one anchor text.

What % is to your homepage v. deep links? (At least 10% or more should be deep-links)

Yes, of course, we too prefer deep linking for a few reasons, viz., it looks more natural, it provides deep crawling and it allows targeting keyword specific pages in search engines.  There is no specific % as it completely depends on the project requirements. Sometimes we do not work for home page links at all, at other times; we focus on home page links.

What % is reciprocal v. non-reciprocal? (Majority non-reciprocal is best)

We would say that reciprocals are better for search engines. But one way links are better because they are safe. You are not linking to any site from your site and even if the other site is involved with any sort of spamming, Google considers sparing you because you are not the one who is endorsing them by offering them a link on your site and can not control them from not providing a link to your site on theirs. Therefore people have a bent towards one way links (non reciprocal links).  Moreover to acquire good reciprocal links, we need to offer good links on our site also, which does not become possible all the time while promoting the site.

What % are from somewhere other than a page footer? (Also need links from body copy)

95% will be provided other than page footer. We can not promise you to provide you any link from body copy. But the majority of links will come from the links/resources pages of the sites.

What % are site-wide links v. less than a handful from the same site? (Vast majority should not be site-wide)

We make sure not to deliver any site-wide links for any of our campaigns as they are more likely to be trapped with Google filter and are now highly discouraged by SEO experts.

What % is from pages with different PR scores: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 etc (a variety is natural)

We always suggest to our clients to have a mixture of all page rank links for their websites to prevent Google filter trap which might become active if it notices a pattern in Pr in all the back links of the site.

What % is from directories? (Other sources of links are needed too)

10-12 % links come from industrial directories whereas links always remain at their relevant categories.

What % is cross-linked from sites you control? (As few as possible is best)

To acquire a link on other site, we need to offer them something in return. If it is not money, it needs to be some benefit to them. We offer all of them a link on our sites to make sure they remain linked to the project sites as long as they have (and need) a link on our site with high PR value.
